The red is much brighter than pictured, and to assemble 3 of these took me less than 5 minutes. The kids at an 8 year old ninjago party loved these displays and so did the parents.

These take a bit of work to put together but then they are durable. I used one on every table as a centerpiece. It looked really good.

I purchased these lanterns for my daughter's Panda Adventure party. I planned on stringing them from the ceiling of the tent but ended up using them as centerpieces. They were easy to put together and very attractive. They were a nice quality and received a lot of comments on them. It was a windy day so I put a few rocks inside them to weigh them down.

No, the Japanese Lantern has solid sides and light will not shine through them.

Due to the fact that the Japanese Lanterns are made of paper, we do not recommend that you put a candle tealight in them.
