Is the arch easy to take down and store in original boxes?

      A:

Arches and other props are made for a one-time use and cannot be taken apart and put back together without sacrificing the structural integrity of the item. We cannot guarantee that the arch/prop would not be severely damaged as the assembly required makes the item permanent.

WE USED THIS FOR OUR GINGERBREAD MAKING DAY AND IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO PUT UP. HOWEVER, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT AFTER WE GOT IT UP. DOWNSIDE IS THAT THE BACK OF THE ARCH IS NOT DECORATED-IT IS BLACK. WE CUT OUT OUR OWN CANDY AND DECORATED THE BACK SINCE WE WERE USING IT AS AN ENTRANCE TO OUR AREA. WE DID RE-USE IT BUT WE COULD ONLY RE-USE IT 3 X. THE FOLDS BECOME WORN. YOU CAN REINFORCE WITH TAPE THOUGH.

Is there any way to see the instructions before purchase? We want to use this for a dance recital. There is storage, but it's only 2 of us dance instructors putting it together. We don't want to get in over our heads if it's too hard to assemble.

      A:

I'm sure it is too late for this answer to help you, but it is possible to put it on a float, but you would have to reinforce using your own methods. As it is, it is not sturdy enough to withstand the constant movement. It would probably be more work than it is worth. not sure how it would stand up to the wind created by the movement of the vehicle.

      A:

Our Arches (unless otherwise noted) are only meant for indoor use. They are made of corrugated cardboard and would blow over if windy and not hold up during moisture such as rain, dew.

We used the arch for our Gingerbread Forrest entrance. We attached lights to it with curved pins and they held well. The instructions are a bit iffy when it came to the 3D part, but all in all we figured it out. It took two or three of us several hours to get this together. But once it was done it looked very cool. We set up the Gingerbread Castle and it was easier. It took two of us about 45 minutes and then we placed lighting around to accent it. The Gingerbread Express was a train ride to pick up the Gingerbread Man and after returning to the station he led the riders into the Gingerbread Forrest for music, hot chocolate, and cookies. It was very magical and the props were great!

The arch looks nice when finally assembled, but it is a lengthy process to set up. Main concern is unless you have an 8.5' x 10.5' space, you cannot store this for future use. It is virtually impossible to disassemble without damaging it and storage is a major issue. It is really only good for one time usage.

This made an adorable photo op. And filled quite a bit of space if you are looking for big decor on a budget. Very colorful and customizable! Don't expect to get more than one use out of it, though. It did not break down well enough to keep for a 2nd use.

We used our gingerbread arch for a community event that we called the Winter Wonderland Workshop. We made individual gingerbread houses, painted faces, watched a festive movie and had a snack. The archway was absolutely perfect. We did decorate the opposite side since it was a walkway in the wonderland area and could be seen from front and back. I love this website and I love their stuff. I think they have great ideas that you just can't get anywhere else.

This surpassed my expectations. It does take time to build, takes min. two people, approx. 1-2 hours to build- but it's worth it. I used this for a party that was held in a large lobby, it was a show stopper. We kept it up for a week after the party because it was festive and tasteful. Recommend putting a brick or some weight at the base, instructions shows you how to do this.

Used the product for Santa event. Only real trouble was kids tried to lean against it and sit on the arch. Being that it was Cardboard and paper that didn't go over so well. Beautiful graphics. Fairly easy to put together, but it takes about 3 hours with 2 of you, and we found the directions a little confusing. We are afraid to take it down to save it for next year, so we are just going to find a place to store the massive arch :). Love the product overall, but was a little shocked that it was just cardboard and paper for [$].
