La Tour Eiffel Tower

We constructed this eiffel tower for prom. For the [$] we paid, I would have expected some more supports and tape. We had to make more supports with wood and buy tons of duct tape to get it to stay together. The lighting that comes with it was adequate, and the construction was not that difficult. But the quality was lacking a bit and since its cardboard, its not that sturdy. We also chose to elevate it 4 more feet with risers that worked nicely, they were made of wood, so our structure was 20 feet tall. It looks slighty under amazing in the light, but looks nice in the dark of prom lighting. It served its purpose, but is definetly "one use only"! There is no way to take it down and not tear it up.

It added a lot to the atmosphere and theme!

This was a great addition to our Prom. However you need to make sure you buy extra black duct tape and extension cords with 3 sockets so you can wire the lights. Ours also fell apart halfway through our prom, but we had several students believe that they were godzilla and the tower fell over.

I used the product for decor at a fundraiser auction. It was great for photo opportunities, great for setting the scene, and it definitely "wowed" the attendees. It is made out of carboard and is taped together with adhesive tape and black duct tape. Read the directions carefully!! It was fragile enough that we didn't want too many people walking around it for fear it could fall down. The lighting looks great. However, I wish they would have provided light covers (which mute and guide the light) for all 9 lights instead of just the 4 base lights and the top light. Instructions say it could take 8 people about 8 hours to assemble...we had 3 people and were able to assemble it in about 8 hours.
