I used this fabric for a stage backdrop for a 1920's - 40's Jazz Club singer & band. It worked great but the picture showed it much more shiney than it was. I pleated it to get a more solid look but would have liked it better had it been less sheer.
We used the product to cover white buckets. It didn't tear, it seems to be quite durable. The small sized roll was perfect and there's a lot of yardage there, so we'll be able to use it for many things.
We used this gossmer as a backdrop for a snowflake-themed wedding shower, and the effects were dramatic, yet elegant. This gossamer is beautifully hued with the perfect amount of shimmer.

I used this material to create a space age backdrop for our booth at Relay For Life. It was easy to hang from canopies with clothes pins and safety pins. It rippled in the wind but didn't cause a problem like a solid piece of material would. We hung it in strips vertically and also made a ceiling within the canopies with it. We added a little more glitz with spray fabric glitter and added hanging star decorations. The result was futuristic just as we had planned. The only not so great thing about the material is that it doesn't fold and flow as much as we had hoped - it hung more like panels.

Q:
Hi! I am decorating round tables that usually use 120 inch round table cloths. How much gossamer will I need for each table if I want them to be covererd with gossamer down to the floor? Thanks for any advice i can obtain.
After you measure the space you need to cover, how much do you typically add to allow for pleating? Let's say I have a wall that is 21' long and 8' high. How much gossamer would I need to cover that space. I don't want it stretched tight, but rather for it to hang like a curtain.

This is a rather difficult question to answer because we do not have a set amount of material that we add for pleating. It is all personal preference on the way you hang gossamer and how much drop you prefer. The following is giving 1/4 for swag - Your options are as follows: 1 - 60 inch x 50 yard roll 1 - 60 inch x 100 yard roll 3 - 19 inch x 25 yard roll 2 - 19 inch x 50 yard roll 1 - 19 inch x 100 yard roll
50 yards does NOT equal 150 inches. There are 3 feet in 1 yard therefore 50 yards would equal 150 feet. You choose the size that you need. We have 19 inches wide x 50 yard rolls, 19 inches wide x 100 yard rolls, 60 inches wide x 50 yard rolls, 60 inches wide x 100 yard rolls.
