ALSO THE DIRECTIONS TELL YOU TO CUT THE x FOR HOLES FOR THE CANDLES AFTER YOU PUT IT TOGETHER. do it before!! IF YOU WAIT AND HAVE THE LAYER TOGETHER THEN YOU ARE CUTTING THE X HOLES FOR THE CANDLES AND IT APPLIES PRESSURE ON THE LAYER AND COULD COLLAPSE.
