I used this for holding a 6' banner I bought from another company. It was simple to use once I figured out how to unfold it properly. The sliding adjustments were a great touch. It did its job, and stayed put through the entire event.
I wouldn't use this outside, though; it is very light and could get blown away.
I would also be very careful with it if you plan to own it for any length of time, as it is a bit fragile. I wouldn't have it near a bunch of foot traffic because I could see someone stepping on it or tripping over it and breaking it.
All in all I was satisfied with the stand, and it worked beautifully. Time will tell if it is durable enough to keep up with me.

The stand will do the job but it is not as sturdy as I thought it would be. It is easy to put together and break down and it does not take up alot of space but the stand itself is a bit flimsy. Also, on one of the stands the hook was upside down when it was put together. So we had to take off the top part with pliers which we were lucky to find at the event, turn the hook around etc.. It worked out but it was frustrating to have to deal with that issue.
